The Second Chance School of Agrinio, Greece, held an informative and awareness raising event on Wednesday, June 1, regarding the school’s participation in the European Erasmus + KA1 training program entitled “Project-Based Learning in the Classroom: Setup, Integration and Reflection”.

All the staff members, as well as the school trainees were present at the event held in the school’s events hall. A PowerPoint file was employed to provide a detailed presentation of the purpose and objectives of the training program. Particular attention was given to understanding what Project Based Learning   is   by   looking at some examples, and establishing ways in which PBL can be implemented into the classroom. The ensuing discussion focused on exploring the best ways to apply and disseminate the results both within the school and in the local community. A consensus was reached that participating in such European Programs is a value adding activity that contributes to improving the quality of the work produced at School but has also positive repercussions in the local community.
